Arthur from Mystery Skulls (if he were to be fully possessed, and the ghost possessing him is behind him, the design I feel, is rather lackluster tho’.)
According to my computer, it states that this only took me an hour, but I’m going to say that it was at least two (at least, it felt like two).
I tried drawing him in more of the style of the video (Failed, but still tried XD.)
Hope you like it~~.
Thank you for the fave tho' <33~~.
It was just a fun (yes, fun) idea I had XD.
You never know if something like this could happen again with Ben working on more for the story of "GHOST".
Don't know when it'll actually come out tho'.
But it'd be nice to have some sort of firm "rules".
One of the ideas that's pretty popular is Werewolf Arthur. But then I started wondering about Vivi. I actually told my friend when she asked why would I want her to be the "Girl Spellcaster" trope:
Well, she would be the saftey net for things...
I can see an episode (for lack of a better term) where she needs to hold down the fort to protect the boys from something.
Maybe a half witch? Maybe from her late-mother? Vivi picking up a few spell books and learning would be a way of feeling close to her.
That could also be why she's not scared easily. Her Mom might have had her grow up learning about all the supernatural stuff. Now that she's traveling in her late teens she's finally getting to see it for real.
It would also explain where Mystery came from. Some witches have familiars. Most are cats but every now and then there's a dog or a raven or a fox.
Just an idea but I think it would add a bit more to her character.
I remember Ben really liking that idea and made it canon.
/It's on his Tumblr...somewhere...
I've never heard of the Werewolf Arthur thing, actually. I'd laugh at the irony tho' if that were true.
Since he was based off of Shaggy whom had also turned into a werewolf in one of the older movies XD.
I forget how old, I think it came out in the 80's? I don't think I actually have the movie in my possession tho'.
Hm, I don't know if I'm really for the witch idea, it seems a little out of place for me, for some reason.
I know a lot of people believe Mystery to be a kitsune, if he ends up actually being one it could be more like she's a descendant of priests/priestess.
They are depicted as spiritually-tuned. Which could be why she loves ghosts/spirits so much.
But that probably isn't right either.
Honestly, at the moment, I'm leaning more towards him being an "Okami", especially due to that "you can't run forever, mutt" character profile on his tumblr.
I guess we'll just have to wait until Ben reveals more info XD.
As for the whole "prestis" thing (sorry, horrible speller) I thought half-witch because Preistis seems too much like Inu-yasha. The Mystery Skulls are like the flopside of Mystery Inc, instead they run into the REAL stuff, and delving into what our culture considers "bad" could show that not all magic is evil.
I mean, even that levitation spell in Harry Potter could be used to murder someone. Just as the controlling "cruse" could be used to make someone jump out of the way of a falling object.
Like Red Riding Hood for example XD.
The same thing with vampires except for that whole sparkly-rainbow shit S.Meyer tried doing. /gags.
I don't think InuYasha is necessarily a bad thing to be compared too.
Well, the pacing was a really slow AND it dragged on forever to boot, but it's still popular as hell XD.
There're more series with priestess's in them tho', like Red Data Girl.
While she doesn't really do much priestess-like things, she does have a lot of power, so I figured it deserved a mention.
Yeah even tho' most of the ghosts and whatnot in Scooby Doo is fake, it's really upsetting to hear that some kids aren't allowed to watch it due to the "supernatural entities" in it.
At least with RPG's there's light and dark magic >.>...
You kind of lost me with the Harry Potter comparison.
I've never watched or read it.
Well, to be fair, I lasted about 15 minutes into the first movie but it didn't...really click with me XD. /shot.
But I kind of see what you're saying...at least with the levitation one.
Thank you, I tried to make them as close as possible to the one in the video (since they have a heart shape.)
My style wouldn't really work with it tho' XD.
To be honest it wasn't completely my style XD.
I think that this was a mix of my style and the animation-style.
